Melon Pops

Melon Pops

Melons have been the favorite summer fruit at home for a couple of years now.
My youngest son who is specially fond of this sweet and juice fruit was my great motivator to prepare these pops by combining two types of melons for a beautiful and absolutely delicious treat. They are PERFECT for a very hot day!

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of canteloupe melon
  • 2 slices of honeydew melon
  • Honey to taste

Preparation

  1. In a food processor or blender, puree the canteloupe without water until very silky. Add honey to taste and mix, set aside.
  2. Repeat the process with the honeydew melon.
  3. In a popsicle tray, place the pulp of the canteloupe and leave space to later place a little bit of the honewdew pulp and thus give the appearance of a melon rind.
  4. Put in the freezer and let it lightly solidify for 30 minutes. Place popsicle sticks and put back in the freezer to finish freezing.
  5. Remove from the freezer and place the honeydew mixture to complete filling the molds and put back to freeze.
  6. Once they are completely frozen, serve.
