Oatmeal and Passion Fruit Colada

Ingredients

  • 4 Tbs oatmeal
  • 1 liter water
  • 1/2 cup passion fruit juice
  • Brown sugar to taste
  • 1 or 2 cinnamon sticks

Preparation

  1. Blend the oatmeal in two cups of water.
  2. Put the blended oats with the rest of the water in a pot and start cooking.
  3. Add the passion fruit juice and cinnamon.
  4. Continue cooking, stirring with a wooden spoon constantly until it begins to thicken and the oats are cooked (about 15-20 minutes).
  5. Take out the cinnamon sticks and sweeten to taste.
