Ingredients
- 1/2 fresh coliflower, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 2 cups veggie meat, chopped in small pieces
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tsp. fresh minced ginger
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tsp. cane sugar or honey
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
- 8-10 washed and dried lettuce leaves.
- 1 Tbsp. Sesame seeds for sprinklin
Preparation
- Mix the water with the cornstarch, set aside
- In a pan, place the oil, the ginger and the garlic and lightly sautee, add the soy sauce and the water and cornstarch mixture. Add the sugar and mix, set aside.
- In the pan, slightly cook in a little water the coliflower pieces, just until they´re lightly tender.
- Drain the water out, and add the veggie meat, mix.
- Incorporate the sauce that was set aside and mix well, add the chopped green onions and turn off the heat.
- Spoon the mixture in lettuce leaves to serve.
- Sprinkle each wrap with sesame seeds.
