Banana Pancakes

Perfect for breakfast

It's such a fast recipe to do at home. And kids love it. Use as many frying pans as possible to speed up the cooking. And the riper the bananas, the sweeter. It's a go-to recipe for bananas about to go into the trash.

Ingredients

  • 2 large bananas or 3 small bananas.
  • 3 cups of plant-based milk.
  • 1 cup of whole wheat flour.
  • 1 cup of white flour.
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder (aluminium free).

Preparation

  1. Put your non-sticky frying pan/s on the stove at medium heat. Just so they are hot when its time to use them.
  2. Put the bananas and milk in a blender (it must be a powerful blender).
  3. Add the whole wheat flour, white flour, and baking powder while blending.
  4. If the batter is too watery, add more from the flour of your choice.
  5. Stop the blender. In the frying pans, pour batter according to the size of pancakes you want.
  6. When the pancake is almost dry/cooked on top. Flip and cook for 30 seconds.
  7. Serve and enjoy.

Tip: Non-sticky frying pans won't work if you cook on high. That might damage the coating and will make your food stick to it. So never use more than medium heat. Doing that, you won't need any oil, and nothing will stick to it.
