Oatmeal with Flax and Raspberries

Ingredients

  • 2 cups oatmeal
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 4 Tbs honey
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 1 cup chopped almonds
  • 2 Tbs flax seeds 

Preparation

  1. Cool the oatmeal in the water. It is recommended to cook quick oats for 20 minutes, and rolled oats for oats; 35 minutes, making it more suitable for digestion.
  2.  5 minutes before they're finished cooking, add the honey, the flax and the cinnamon.
  3. When the cooking is finished, then add the raspberries and mix. 
  4. When serving, add the chopped almonds on top.
